Whether using St Mauritius House in Lewisham, or the Calabash Day Centre in Catford all our members find warmth, friendship, support, guidance and advice.
The opportunity for social engagement is central to our service as well as activities such as keep fit, singing, dancing, dominoes, reminiscence therapy, arts, crafts, cake decorating and needlecraft we offer space and time to meet spiritual and religious needs. At Lewisham Park Housing Association we don't just concentrate on the creative, physical and spiritual, our staff firmly believe that great food is an essential route to health and well being. Offering culturally specific lunch time meals daily in addition to breakfasts for our early arrivals our cooking has become legendary.
Here are our activities available at the St Mauritius Day Centre until September
Mondays
From 9:30am-10:30am Breakfast; 11:30am - 12:30pm Walking Excercise with Clients, Floor Games, Dominoes, Newspaper Reading, One-One with Clients, Outdoor walking and Toileting.
12:30pm - 1:30pm Lunch followed by Dominoes, Board Games, Bingo For All, One to One, Knitting ,Toileting and discussions with Marion.
3:00pm - 4:00pm Tea Break
4.00pm - 5.00pm Closure
Tuesdays
From 9:30am-10:30am Breakfast; 11:30am-12:30pm Sewing and Embroidery with Mrs Flanders, Basket Weaving, Excercise for the Extra Frail with Lee, One-to-One, Newspaper Reading, Toileting.
12:30pm-1:30pm Lunch followed by Models, painting, knitting, Dominoes, Discussion with Staff & Clients on Current Events, Toileting.
3:00pm-4:00pm Tea Break
4:00pm - 5:00pm Closure.
Wednesdays
9:30am-10:30am Breakfast; 11:30am-12:30pm Gentle excercise with Lee, Floor Games, Health Clinic(Every other Wednesday), Basket Weaving, Dominoes, Embroidery all day, Newspaper Reading, Toileting.
12:30pm-1:30pm Lunch, followed by Bible Class, Movies, Dominoes and Board Games
3:00pm-4:00pm Tea Break
4:00pm-5:00pm Closure
Thursdays
9:30am-10:30am Breakfast; Newspaper Reading, Floor Games, Shopping Trips in Bromley(Every other Thursday) Arts and Crafts with Marion, Dominoes and Toileting.
12:30pm-1:30pm Lunch followed by DVD and Film Watching, One-to-One, Zigzag Puzzles with Staff and Dominoes

Fridays
